Sarah Balan is a Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist who graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2005. She then went on to complete her Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy at University of South Australia in 2008.
Sarah first started her Physiotherapy career in Singapore General Hospital treating a variety of cases from musculoskeletal and sports injuries to post-operative conditions. Thereafter, she has worked in private practices and hospitals in Singapore, Australia (3 years) and France (7 years). Sarah has been an on-field Sports Physiotherapist for a number of sporting events, such as Men’s Rugby, touch rugby and football. She has also worked with the Singapore Dance Theatre previously.
Trained in the Schroth method for scoliosis, Sarah believes patient education is of utmost importance. She has treated many scoliotic patients with positive and remarkable results.
She is also enthusiastic about constantly acquiring further knowledge on various techniques and skills that would help her provide the best care for her patients.
Sarah loves dance, adventure and travel. In her free time, she would be found doing yoga and different sports.
