Wesley Chee is the Director and Principal Sports Physiotherapist at Physio & Sole Clinic. He graduated with a Master Degree in Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy from University of South Australia in 2010 after receiving a postgraduate scholarship from Changi General Hospital. In doing so, he became one of the youngest physiotherapists in Singapore to have a specialised Masters degree in his field.
Prior to joining Physio & Sole Clinic, he spent 3 years working as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at a private practice (2012-2015) and also worked as a Sports Physiotherapist at Changi Sports Medicine Centre and Singapore Sports Medicine Centre from 2008 to 2012.
Sports & Musculoskeletal injuries are his main areas of specialisation. Wesley has special interest in treating runners and patients with shoulder problems. He has worked with the U16 and U17 national teams from the Football Association of Singapore and was involved as a physiotherapist in the inaugural Asian Youth Games held in Singapore in 2009. Wesley has provided sports physiotherapy and on-field coverage for numerous sports including Australian Rules Football, Cricket and Soccer.
In addition to his clinical work, Wesley is also a Clinical Adjunct Lecturer at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, Singapore Institute Of Technology, for training undergraduate physiotherapy students
Wesley exercises regularly and is a firm believer in preventing injuries through customised exercises for the individuals. His passion lies in helping individuals recover and return to sports in the shortest possible time.
