Chee Wai Siong Wesley

Wesley Chee is the Director and Principal Sports Physiotherapist at Physio & Sole Clinic. He graduated with a Master Degree in Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy from University of South Australia in 2010 after receiving a postgraduate scholarship from Changi General Hospital. After gaining initial experience as a Sports Physiotherapist at Changi Sports Medicine Centre, Singapore Sports Medicine Centre and private practice, he co-founded Physio & Sole Clinic in 2013. Physio & Sole Clinic grew rapidly to become one of the biggest Physiotherapy and Podiatry clinic chain in Singapore and Wesley was responsible in this transformation. He has mentored many physiotherapists in the development of their skills whilst they were employed by Physio & Sole Clinic. Wesley specialises in the treatment of Sports & Musculoskeletal injuries and has special interest in treating runners and patients with shoulder problems. He is a highly experienced physiotherapist who has worked with the U16 and U17 national teams from the Football Association of Singapore and was involved as a physiotherapist in the inaugural Asian Youth Games held in Singapore in 2009. Wesley has also provided sports physiotherapy and on-field coverage for numerous sports including Australian Rules Football, Cricket and Soccer. In addition to his clinical work, Wesley is passionate about teaching young physiotherapists and had experience as a Clinical Adjunct Lecturer at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, Singapore Institute Of Technology. He exercises regularly and is a firm believer in preventing injuries through customised exercises for the individuals.
Hu Wenyan Fiona

Fiona Hu graduated with a Degree of Podiatry from University of South Australia in 2008 after receiving a CGH podiatry scholarship award. She has been practicing as a senior podiatrist in Changi General Hospital for 5 years. She is rigorously trained in all aspects of podiatry and had amassed a depth of experience having been an anchor podiatrist in both Changi Sports Medicine Centre and the high risk diabetic foot clinics. She was also hugely involved in training of students and junior podiatrists. She was the elected former President of Podiatry Association for 2013-2015. Being the youngest ever serving President for the association, she led the association with tenacity and innovation, positioning the association as the voice for podiatrists in Singapore. Fiona understands the need to provide patients with more treatment options for foot conditions for patients’ varied needs and priorities. This led her to be one of the first certified Yamuna Foot Fitness Practitioner in Singapore, allowing her to provide treatment alternatives to foot problems like bunions and flat feet. She has an avid interest in sports podiatry and podopediatrics, and enjoys many kinds of sporting activities.
Low Yang Zhi

Yang Zhi obtained his Diploma in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2015. He then completed his Bachelors in Science (Physiotherapy) from Trinity College Dublin in 2016. Yang Zhi began his career as a physiotherapist in a public restructured hospital. He amassed invaluable experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions. He has specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy for more than three years since. During his time in the outpatient clinic, he has collaborated with doctors to develop rehabilitation protocols for orthopaedic conditions. He is also a certified Clinical Educator for physiotherapy students at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). Yang Zhi’s interest lies in helping clients with chronic pain, using a holistic approach in clinical management. He believes in healing through empowerment by helping his clients understand their conditions, and working together to achieve better outcomes. Yang Zhi also constantly seeks to improve his knowledge and skills by attending courses and reading up on the latest research papers. When he is not thinking about physiotherapy, Yang Zhi enjoys outdoor activities such as running and outdoor trekking. He is currently picking up Japanese as a hobby. He also enjoys a good cup of coffee whenever he has the time.
Kelvin Tay Kai Ming

Kelvin Tay graduated from University of Southampton with First Class Honours in 2010 after receiving the Ministry of Health (MOH) Health Sciences Scholarship Award. He embarked on his career as a Podiatrist at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) before transferring to Changi General Hospital (CGH) in 2012. The 6 years of hospital experience have allowed Kelvin to develop extensive clinical skills in all aspects of Podiatry, ranging from general nail care and foot care to high risk diabetic foot and wound management. His main interest is in Sports Podiatry and his experience at the Changi Sports Medicine Centre has been invaluable. Other than his work at the hospital, Kelvin has been an instrumental Committee Member (former Continuing Education Officer) in the Podiatry Association (Singapore) since 2013. Kelvin speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Hokkien. He believes that effective communication with his patients is of utmost importance when delivering podiatry care. Affectionately known by patients as “Ah Tay” and “Kai Kai”, his compassion and genial demeanour have earned him multiple awards including the SingHealth Service Quality Silver Award 2012 (SGH), the Eastern Health Alliance Caring Awards (Silver 2013-2014) and the Quarterly Best Service Award 2014 (CGH). Kelvin is active in running and football, and also plays basketball and tennis. He has had previous injuries as a competitive runner and was unable to walk freely without pain. Therefore, Kelvin has a deep empathy towards competitive athletes on their road to recovery. Together with fellow practitioners such as physiotherapists and sports trainers, Kelvin strives to get patients back to their feet as soon and as painless as possible.
Farha Nisha

Farha completed her studies at Curtin University (Australia) before beginning her career at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where she was first exposed to a variety of cardiopulmonary, oncology, neurological and orthopaedic conditions. She then went on to specialise in treating musculoskeletal conditions in infants, children, adolescents and women. She has therefore worked with a wide range of age groups : from infants with torticollis, to adolescents with sporting injuries, to women ante/postnatally and even with older osteoporotic ladies. Farha strongly believes that the understanding of a patient’s condition plays the biggest role in recovery. Together with patient education, she employs exercise training, myofascial release, dry needling, manual therapy and taping when necessary to aid in rehabilitation. Overall, she is confident that a holistic individualised treatment addressing the person as a whole will improve his or her quality of life. Farha’s specific area of interest lies in treating scoliosis patients. At KKH, she championed for active conservative treatment and was a pioneer therapist in conducting scoliosis specific exercises. This is contrary to the traditional approach for scoliosis management, which only offers the option of bracing. She understands that exercise is an important component for scoliotic patients of all ages to help improve the scoliotic posture and to be pain free. Having been trained by scoliosis specialists overseas while on courses in the United States and Netherlands, Farha is inspired to work with doctors and other professionals locally to improve how scoliosis is managed in Singapore. Farha practices at East Gate @ Katong. Fun Facts about Farha Nisha Farha is actually a daredevil at heart and enjoys high adrenaline activities like paragliding and bungee jumping when on trips overseas. Currently though, she has a toddler at home and spends most of her free time nurturing his love for the outdoors. Weekends are mostly spent at the parks/beaches, hiking or cycling!
Felicia Cher

Felicia Cher made a mid-career transition into physiotherapy after six years of experience as a certified STOTT Pilates instructor and dance teacher. She was selected for the Accelerated Physiotherapy Programme and graduated with a joint Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin. Felicia has since developed broad clinical experience across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a particular focus on managing musculoskeletal conditions for migrant workers, as well as treating orthopaedic and neurological conditions in a Day Rehabilitation setting. With her strong foundation in dance and Pilates, Felicia brings a unique perspective to her physiotherapy practice, combining technical knowledge with a deep appreciation for movement, posture, and the mind-body connection. Her personal experience with dance-related injuries allows her to empathise closely with her patients and fuels her passion for helping others regain function and return to the activities they love. Outside of her professional endeavours, Felicia enjoys practicing Pilates, exploring calisthenics, and going on the hunt for the best hojicha latte in town.
Teo Zhen Yeow Jason

Jason Teo began his physiotherapy journey with a strong foundation in exercise science and rehabilitation, complemented by his background as a certified personal trainer. He started his career in a community hospital, where he gained valuable experience in geriatric care, neuro-rehabilitation, chronic disease management, movement disorders, and both conservative and post-surgical recovery. Jason takes a holistic and patient-centred approach to care, combining exercise prescription, education, manual therapy, and techniques such as dry needling. He is known for tailoring each treatment plan to the individual’s goals, lifestyle, and stage of recovery-supporting his clients in reducing pain, regaining mobility, and returning to the activities that matter most. His own experiences with sports and training-related injuries have shaped his empathetic and collaborative style. Jason understands that pain is not only physical, but also emotional and psychological, and strives to empower every client on their journey toward recovery and resilience. Grounded in humility, Jason believes that movement-and a good sense of humour-are powerful tools in healing. He values listening and learning from his patients, and continually adapts his approach to meet their evolving needs. His commitment to quality care has been recognised through several Singapore Health Quality Service Awards. Outside the clinic, Jason enjoys gym workouts, cycling, badminton, and the occasional surf or snowboard trip. He also loves discovering new food spots, relaxing with a cup of tea, and spending time with animals. A lifelong learner, Jason is always exploring new skills to grow as a clinician and better support his patients.
Tan Jun Feng

Tan Jun Feng graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology, in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, in 2024. He began his career in the community care sector, where he supported seniors in their rehabilitation journeys—helping them regain independence in daily activities following hospital discharge for conditions such as stroke, deconditioning, and post-operative recovery from knee and hip replacements. He also provided physiotherapy services to staff across various company divisions, managing a range of conditions from ergonomic-related injuries to sports-related issues. Jun Feng believes in empowering patients through education and actively involving them in their recovery. He adopts a holistic approach to physiotherapy, addressing both physical and lifestyle factors to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Outside of work, Jun Feng is passionate about fitness and enjoys strength training and running.
Ng Jia Lin

Jia Lin graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne, in 2014 with a Bachelor in Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice under a scholarship from then-Alexandra Health. Before joining Physio and Sole Clinic, she was working at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) as a senior podiatrist and had been presented with the Service Champion Award for 5 consecutive years due to her dedication and going above and beyond for her patients. She was also elected to the Executive Committee of the Podiatry Association (Singapore) and served as treasurer from 2015-2016. Jia Lin’s expertise lies in the management of complex wounds. In her tenure at KTPH, she was the leading podiatrist in wound management and was instrumental in setting up the first diabetic foot unit in Singapore. She specializes in managing all types of wounds including vascular ulcers, plastics reconstruction flaps, diabetic foot wounds and delicate skin graft wounds. She was the overall Podiatrist-in-charge for the Joint-Consultation Clinic, which involved a multidisciplinary care team including vascular, orthopaedic as well as plastic surgeons to provide holistic care for patients. Jia Lin also has keen interest in children feet conditions as she was inspired during a dedicated rotation in an acute hospital paediatric department in Australia, which she has since gone on to gain extensive insights in biomechanical pathologies through clinical experience, updated clinical reading and attending musculoskeletal workshops. Nothing gives her greater pleasure than being able to aid in the recovery of her patients and seeing them walk out of the clinic with a smile.
Tay Yiling

Yiling graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007 with a Bachelor of Applied Science after receiving the SingHealth Scholarship and began her physiotherapy career at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). In 2011, she received a Talent Development Fund scholarship from Singapore Health Services and pursued her Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) at the University of Melbourne, where she was awarded the Ami Gorecha Memorial Postgraduate Prize for the highest-achieving international student. Between 2011 and 2018, Yiling received multiple Star, Gold, and Silver Awards at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards in recognition of her dedication to patient care. Yiling has over 16 years of experience as a physiotherapist, with 12 years at KKH, where she served as the Assistant Head of the Musculoskeletal Department. She managed inpatient and outpatient teams and treated a wide range of conditions, including cardiopulmonary, neurological and developmental, paediatric, adolescent, adult musculoskeletal, sports injuries, women’s health, and hydrotherapy. She also conducted group classes such as baby massage, osteoporosis management, aquafitness, and antenatal classes. After leaving KKH, Yiling spent four years in private practice as a Principal Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, focusing on paediatric and adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has extensive experience managing acute and post-operative soft-tissue injuries and sports injuries of the upper limb, lower limb, and spine, with a strong clinical interest in knee and ankle conditions. Yiling speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and conversational Hokkien and Teochew. She believes effective communication and understanding patient goals are the foundation of physiotherapy care. She finds great satisfaction in helping clients recover, regain mobility, and return to their activities through an individualised and tailored approach. Yiling especially enjoys working with children and adolescents, where patience, creativity, and teamwork are key to successful rehabilitation. Outside of work, Yiling loves spending time with her family and three children, often exploring parks, museums, and family activities around Singapore.
