Jun Feng

Tan Jun Feng graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology, in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, in 2024. He began his career in the community care sector, where he supported seniors in their rehabilitation journeys—helping them regain independence in daily activities following hospital discharge for conditions such as stroke, deconditioning, and post-operative recovery from knee and hip replacements. He also provided physiotherapy services to staff across various company divisions, managing a range of conditions from ergonomic-related injuries to sports-related issues. Jun Feng believes in empowering patients through education and actively involving them in their recovery. He adopts a holistic approach to physiotherapy, addressing both physical and lifestyle factors to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Outside of work, Jun Feng is passionate about fitness and enjoys strength training and running.

Ng Jia Lin

Ng Jia Lin

Jia Lin graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne, in 2014 with a Bachelor in Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice under a scholarship from then-Alexandra Health. Before joining Physio and Sole Clinic, she was working at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) as a senior podiatrist and had been presented with the Service Champion Award for 5 consecutive years due to her dedication and going above and beyond for her patients. She was also elected to the Executive Committee of the Podiatry Association (Singapore) and served as treasurer from 2015-2016. Jia Lin’s expertise lies in the management of complex wounds. In her tenure at KTPH, she was the leading podiatrist in wound management and was instrumental in setting up the first diabetic foot unit in Singapore. She specializes in managing all types of wounds including vascular ulcers, plastics reconstruction flaps, diabetic foot wounds and delicate skin graft wounds. She was the overall Podiatrist-in-charge for the Joint-Consultation Clinic, which involved a multidisciplinary care team including vascular, orthopaedic as well as plastic surgeons to provide holistic care for patients. Jia Lin also has keen interest in children feet conditions as she was inspired during a dedicated rotation in an acute hospital paediatric department in Australia, which she has since gone on to gain extensive insights in biomechanical pathologies through clinical experience, updated clinical reading and attending musculoskeletal workshops. Nothing gives her greater pleasure than being able to aid in the recovery of her patients and seeing them walk out of the clinic with a smile.

Tay Yiling

Tay Yiling

Yiling graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007 with a Bachelor of Applied Science after receiving the SingHealth Scholarship and began her physiotherapy career at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). In 2011, she received a Talent Development Fund scholarship from Singapore Health Services and pursued her Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) at the University of Melbourne, where she was awarded the Ami Gorecha Memorial Postgraduate Prize for the highest-achieving international student. Between 2011 and 2018, Yiling received multiple Star, Gold, and Silver Awards at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards in recognition of her dedication to patient care. Yiling has over 16 years of experience as a physiotherapist, with 12 years at KKH, where she served as the Assistant Head of the Musculoskeletal Department. She managed inpatient and outpatient teams and treated a wide range of conditions, including cardiopulmonary, neurological and developmental, paediatric, adolescent, adult musculoskeletal, sports injuries, women’s health, and hydrotherapy. She also conducted group classes such as baby massage, osteoporosis management, aquafitness, and antenatal classes. After leaving KKH, Yiling spent four years in private practice as a Principal Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, focusing on paediatric and adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has extensive experience managing acute and post-operative soft-tissue injuries and sports injuries of the upper limb, lower limb, and spine, with a strong clinical interest in knee and ankle conditions. Yiling speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and conversational Hokkien and Teochew. She believes effective communication and understanding patient goals are the foundation of physiotherapy care. She finds great satisfaction in helping clients recover, regain mobility, and return to their activities through an individualised and tailored approach. Yiling especially enjoys working with children and adolescents, where patience, creativity, and teamwork are key to successful rehabilitation. Outside of work, Yiling loves spending time with her family and three children, often exploring parks, museums, and family activities around Singapore.  

Kerra Kong

Kerra Kong

Kerra graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry (First Class Honours) from the United Kingdom, where she trained in both NHS and private clinics across Greater Manchester. Her clinical experience has spanned high-risk foot clinics, nail surgery, and elderly care in hospitals, nursing homes, and community settings. She began her career at Alexandra Hospital (AH), where she worked through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and volunteered as a swabber to support the hospital’s response. Kerra also gained experience at the National University Hospital (NUH) and in nursing homes, where she provided treatment and trained caregivers in elderly foot care. Her dedication has been recognised with five “Above and Beyond” awards. Kerra has a strong interest in nail surgery, dermatological conditions, and musculoskeletal presentations. She is also passionate about teaching and mentorship, guiding new staff and students at AH, and serving as a Clinical Tutor with the National University of Singapore (NUS) since 2023. Her reflections as a healthcare worker were featured in Humanity Behind Every Face, a book by Alexandra Hospital. Kerra takes a holistic, patient-centred approach, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs and goals. She is committed to empowering her patients with the knowledge and tools to maintain long-term foot health. Outside of work, she enjoys nature walks, cooking and baking, discovering new food spots, and keeping active through regular gym workouts and self-care.

Su Yunfeng

Su Yunfeng began his Physiotherapy career in a restructured hospital in 2011, where he was exposed to patient populations across a wide variety of medical disciplines, including Surgical, Geriatrics, Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal. He gained valuable experience attending to patients from various backgrounds and with different needs.   Yunfeng joined Physio and Sole Clinic after completing his Master of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) in 2018. His clinical focus in recent years has been on assessment and management of musculoskeletal and post-surgical conditions in an outpatient setting.   Across his clinical experience and postgraduate studies, he has developed strong interests in the sporting knee, spinal issues and osteoarthritic conditions. He has extensive experience in management of post-operative total knee arthroplasty, spinal conditions and soft tissue injuries in the shoulder and lower limbs.   Yunfeng firmly believes in individualised and active management of musculoskeletal conditions, guided by evidence-based practice, to meet the specific needs of each patient in an ethical manner. He is extremely passionate about helping each person better understand his or her condition(s), be aware of the role of movement, as well as acquire practical knowledge in functional recovery through one-to-one education and discussion.

Goh Yock Jun Vanessa

Vanessa graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2008 with a Diploma in Physiotherapy. She furthered her studies, receiving her Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in 2009. She went on to obtain her Masters of Manual Therapy from the University of Western Australia in 2015.  She started her Physiotherapy career in 2009 in Changi General Hospital where she amassed experience in Orthopaedics, Cardiopulmonary, Neuro and Musculoskeletal  cases. She was also part of Changi Sports Medicine Centre, where she gained valuable experience covering sport-related injuries.  She has been working in the private sector since 2015, working with patients with musculoskeletal pain and injuries. She was also heavily involved in the clinical teaching and education of the junior physiotherapists in her previous place of practice.  She has a wide range of clinical experience, ranging from musculoskeletal to post-operative conditions, with special interest in treating knee, foot and ankle as well as shoulder conditions.  In her free time, you can find her practicing the “art of eight limbs” (Muay Thai) or playing badminton with her friends. 

Yong Sue Mei

Yong Sue Mei is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2006 with a Diploma in Physiotherapy. She then went to further her studies in University of South Australia and graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy.   Sue Mei started her career working in Tan Tock Seng Hospital treating different kinds of conditions ranging from cardiopulmonary, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She was also actively giving public talks on joint pain and office ergonomics. Thereafter, she spent 4 years in private practice treating a comprehensive range of various musculoskeletal conditions.   Her interest lies in treating senior clients with spinal and knee pain. She strongly believes in manual therapy and exercises to help clients self-manage their conditions and prevent recurrence.

Cheryl Ng Gek Hong

Cheryl completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) in 2004, and obtained her Master in Manipulative Therapy in 2006.   Having been in the private practice setting for over 15 years, Cheryl has extensive experience in the treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, such as back and shoulder pain, sporting injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. She also has a keen interest in musculoskeletal conditions of pregnant and post-partum women.   Cheryl adopts a holistic approach in her management strategy and enjoys working closely with her clients to achieve the best possible outcome, whether it is via hands-on treatment, education or exercise-based rehabilitation.   Cheryl is a registered physiotherapist and also a certified supervisor in Physiotherapy by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).   During her free time, Cheryl enjoys relaxing on the sofa with a good book and coffee. She also enjoys working on arts and crafts.

Nurhafizah Binte Abu Sujad

Nurhafizah (“Fizah”) completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) in the University of Sydney in 2004.   Fizah started her career working in Changi General Hospital with various stints across Musculoskeletal and Surgical Wards, and Outpatient Clinics. She was an aqua therapist and conducted hydrotherapy sessions for her patients.   Thereafter, she spent 11 years as the Head Physiotherapist of the Football Association of Singapore, leading the Department of Football Science and Sports Medicine. She was responsible for the healthcare of the Senior Men’s National Team and prepared them for every major tournament including the World Cup Qualifiers. SARAH SELLAM BALAN

Sarah Sellam Balan is a Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist who graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2005. She subsequently completed her Master of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2008. Sarah began her physiotherapy career at Singapore General Hospital, where she treated a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as post-operative conditions. She has since gained extensive clinical experience across private practices and hospitals in Singapore, Australia, and France, including three years of practice in Australia and ten years in France. Her experience in sports physiotherapy includes providing on-field support for sporting events such as men’s rugby, touch rugby, and football. She has also previously worked with the Singapore Dance Theatre, supporting dancers with injury management and rehabilitation. Sarah has a strong clinical interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as scoliosis management across different age groups. Trained in the Schroth Method for scoliosis, she believes that patient education plays an essential role in achieving meaningful and lasting rehabilitation outcomes. She has supported many patients with scoliosis in improving their movement, function, and confidence through individualised care.
