Yinjie graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic as the top student in 2004 and was awarded both the Ministry of Health Gold Medal (outstanding performance in the course of study) and the Singapore Physiotherapy Association Prize (best performance in clinical practice). She started her career in Singapore General Hospital while pursuing her degree with University of Sydney. Her clinical experience has exposed her to the different disciplines in physiotherapy.
Having worked in various settings, Yinjie has treated a wide spectrum of clients from the young to the elderly for musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, geriatric and neurological conditions.
She was a national canoeist previously and whilst she no longer rows or competes, she believes in keeping herself fit and works out regularly.
