Vanessa graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2008 with a Diploma in Physiotherapy. She furthered her studies, receiving her Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in 2009. She went on to obtain her Masters of Manual Therapy from the University of Western Australia in 2015.
She started her Physiotherapy career in 2009 in Changi General Hospital where she amassed experience in Orthopaedics, Cardiopulmonary, Neuro and Musculoskeletal cases. She was also part of Changi Sports Medicine Centre, where she gained valuable experience covering sport-related injuries.
She has been working in the private sector since 2015, working with patients with musculoskeletal pain and injuries. She was also heavily involved in the clinical teaching and education of the junior physiotherapists in her previous place of practice.
She has a wide range of clinical experience, ranging from musculoskeletal to post-operative conditions, with special interest in treating knee, foot and ankle as well as shoulder conditions.
In her free time, you can find her practicing the “art of eight limbs” (Muay Thai) or playing badminton with her friends.
