Hao Xu obtained his Diploma in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2018. He started his career in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) for 1.5 years in Musculoskeletal and Cardiopulmonary specialties before completing his Bachelors in Science (Physiotherapy) from Trinity College Dublin in 2020. He is also certified in dry needling.
Hao Xu continued his journey in TTSH for another three years where he amassed invaluable experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and geriatric conditions. He has specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with a sub-specialty in pain management for more than two years since. During his time in the outpatient clinic, he had seen a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and has led exercise classes for conservative and postoperative conditions. In addition, he was a project lead in a novel project regarding telehealth for Rheumatoid Arthritis patients. He is also a certified Clinical Educator for physiotherapy students at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and a certified clinical supervisor in Physiotherapy by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
Hao Xu has a keen interest in post-operative sports rehab to safely guide athletes on their recovery route. He also believes in a biopsychosocial approach to each individual in their recovery journey.
Outside of work, Hao Xu enjoys a variety of sports such as HIIT, callisthenics, running and swimming. Aside from keeping active, he also has a love for photography and enjoys travelling with his wife.
