Yang Zhi obtained his Diploma in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2015. He then completed his Bachelors in Science (Physiotherapy) from Trinity College Dublin in 2016.
Yang Zhi began his career as a physiotherapist in a public restructured hospital. He amassed invaluable experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions. He has specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy for more than three years since. During his time in the outpatient clinic, he has collaborated with doctors to develop rehabilitation protocols for orthopaedic conditions. He is also a certified Clinical Educator for physiotherapy students at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Yang Zhi’s interest lies in helping clients with chronic pain, using a holistic approach in clinical management. He believes in healing through empowerment by helping his clients understand their conditions, and working together to achieve better outcomes. Yang Zhi also constantly seeks to improve his knowledge and skills by attending courses and reading up on the latest research papers.
When he is not thinking about physiotherapy, Yang Zhi enjoys outdoor activities such as running and outdoor trekking. He is currently picking up Japanese as a hobby. He also enjoys a good cup of coffee whenever he has the time.
