Kerra graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry (First Class Honours) from the United Kingdom, where she trained in both NHS and private clinics across Greater Manchester. Her clinical experience has spanned high-risk foot clinics, nail surgery, and elderly care in hospitals, nursing homes, and community settings.
She began her career at Alexandra Hospital (AH), where she worked through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and volunteered as a swabber to support the hospital’s response. Kerra also gained experience at the National University Hospital (NUH) and in nursing homes, where she provided treatment and trained caregivers in elderly foot care. Her dedication has been recognised with five “Above and Beyond” awards.
Kerra has a strong interest in nail surgery, dermatological conditions, and musculoskeletal presentations. She is also passionate about teaching and mentorship, guiding new staff and students at AH, and serving as a Clinical Tutor with the National University of Singapore (NUS) since 2023. Her reflections as a healthcare worker were featured in Humanity Behind Every Face, a book by Alexandra Hospital.
Kerra takes a holistic, patient-centred approach, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs and goals. She is committed to empowering her patients with the knowledge and tools to maintain long-term foot health.
Outside of work, she enjoys nature walks, cooking and baking, discovering new food spots, and keeping active through regular gym workouts and self-care.
