Joey Ng graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2016 with a Diploma in Physiotherapy. She went on to obtain an Honours Degree for Bachelor in Science (Physiotherapy) from Trinity College, Dublin in 2017. She constantly works on personal development by regularly attending courses to upgrade and update her clinical skills to better manage patients.
Joey started her career as a physiotherapist in Sengkang General Hospital where she gained invaluable experience in multiple areas of physiotherapy including Orthopaedics, Acute Care, Musculoskeletal and Geriatrics. She also had exposure in sports injury management when she was the team physiotherapist for the National Men’s Floorball and National Squash teams during the Southeast Asian Games in Manila, 2019.
Joey is highly passionate about increasing her clients’ awareness to their conditions, and empowering them to take charge of their injury. She strongly believes in active rehabilitation and incorporates manual therapy, physiotherapy education, and exercise programs to help her clients optimise their function and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Her main areas of interest are musculoskeletal and sports injury management.
In her free time, Joey enjoys going to the gym, as well as spending quality time with her family and two dogs. She also loves travelling and her favourite getaways are to islands where she can dive and explore the underwater world.
