Toto graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne, in 2011 with a Bachelor of Podiatry. He also holds a Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (First Class Honours) from Mahidol University, the leading Medical and Research University in Thailand. Born in Thailand, his friends and family calls him by his friendly name “Toto” which acts like a middle name for “Supapong”.
Toto began his career as a podiatrist at National University Hospital (NUH) in 2012, working closely with Orthopaedic, Sports Medicine and Vascular doctors. His main clinical interests include sports and musculoskeletal injury prevention, paediatrics, diabetic foot, ingrown toenail care and wart treatment. He actively engages in treating sport and musculoskeletal injuries using a variety of modalities such as footwear and orthotic therapy, shockwave therapy, and exercise modification. He was also the main podiatrist in charge of ingrown toenail services in NUH where he created clinical guidelines and supervised junior podiatrists and podiatry students in this field of specialty.
Toto also works alongside paediatric physiotherapists in treating children with neurological issues such as Cerebral Palsy (CP) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), where he uses his background of Podiatry combined with Prosthetic and Orthotic skills to improve a patient’s quality of life.
Toto values a holistic yet evidence-based approach in treating lower limb conditions. He is always enthusiastic about continual learning and enjoys keeping up to date on the latest research on musculoskeletal injuries and treatments.
Toto is a firm believer in treating people with heart and respect. He is passionate in combining clinical excellence with a Thai hospitality to help patients get better while putting smiles on their faces.
