Daphne Tan was a recipient of the MOH Health Sciences Scholarship Award and graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice with Honours in 2013. Upon her return to Singapore, she served in National University Hospital (NUH) for 8 years, where she helped to treat various conditions including lower limbs with dermatological issues, musculoskeletal issues, high-risk feet in patients with diabetes, rheumatological conditions, and particularly those with peripheral vascular problems.
Daphne also co-authored several published papers and was actively involved in student and inter-professional education and collaboration. Notably, she served as the interim Head of Podiatry during her final ten months of tenure at NUH.
Prior to joining the Physio and Sole Clinic, Daphne had spent a year in private practice where she further developed her interest in treating children, amongst other new skills.
Outside of work, Daphne is an involved mum of two young ones and enjoys crafting, dance, and Pilates when she gets a moment to herself.
