Leonard Ong Yao Jian is a Principal Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who completed his Bachelor Degree of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from University of Sydney (Australia) in 2009. He started off his career in National University Hospital and thereafter practised at his own private clinic. With an overall experience of 10 years, Leonard developed a keen interest in lower limb and sports injuries, as well as post-operative rehabilitation for orthopaedic surgeries.
Leonard is familiar with the pain and suffering one with injuries undergo where he sustained those injuries from a road traffic accident many years ago. This allows him to display genuine empathy towards his clients. He maintains good relationships with his patients and enjoys his daily work. His passion has led him to help numerous people recover from their injuries and return to a satisfactory level of function, be it sporting activities or activities of daily living.
Leonard has completed several marathons and triathlons races, including a full Ironman triathlon. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, holding a NSCA (CSCS) certificate and enjoys working out in the gym. Currently, he spends majority of his free time doing voluntary work. As a professional physiotherapist, he strives to maintain a high level of honesty, empathy and kindness when dealing with his patients.
