Bernard graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2015. He began his career as a physiotherapist in a public restructured hospital. During his tour of duty, Bernard had experiences working in Singapore General Hospital, Alexandra Hospital under Sengkang Health, National Heart Centre, Punggol Polyclinic and Sengkang General Hospital, managing patients of various disciplines. In addition, Bernard was involved in clinical education for both SIT undergraduate students and junior physiotherapists. He was also involved in the coverage of various sporting events such as OSIM Triathlons and Standard Charted Marathon.
Bernard believes every patient is unique. He is passionate to assist his clients to reach their goals via a multi-prong approach which encourages active participation to return to the activities they love. His main areas of interest are musculoskeletal injury and post-operative rehabilitation.
During his free time, Bernard enjoys outdoor activities especially trekking and cycling. He also loves travelling and his favourite destination is Taiwan where he can enjoy the mountain and the sea.
