Nicole graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the University of Western Australia in 2017. Her aspirations as a healthcare professional first began upon completion of a Bachelor of Biomedicine degree at the University of Melbourne.
Having spent the first few years of her career at Changi General Hospital, Nicole acquired experience and opportunities to manage a wide variety of clinical conditions. These include treatment of ingrown toenails, skin and nail pathologies and the management of complex diabetic foot ulcers. Whilst working as a podiatrist at the Singapore Sports Medicine Centre, Nicole also developed a keen interest in the management of adolescent and adult musculoskeletal sporting injuries.
In her pursuit to always provide quality care, Nicole strives to continually add to her repertoire of clinical skills. She has attended the Rocktape Advanced Kinesiology course and has also attained a certification in practical dry needling for foot, ankle and lower limb pathologies. Nicole embraces the clinical application of a diverse range of treatment modalities, such as those aforementioned, as well as orthotics and exercise prescriptions, for the management of both adult and paediatric feet conditions.
As an avid sportsperson, Nicole enjoys participating in a wide range of sports, namely football, ultimate frisbee, and scuba-diving. She has even tried her hand at underwater rugby! Nicole is therefore able to fully empathise with her patients’ injuries and rehabilitation goals. She endeavours to always provide personalised treatment for her patients and values working closely within a multidisciplinarycare team to facilitate a holistic transition back to functional levels and beyond.
