Chuen Thye has worked as a physiotherapist since 2009 and has a special interest in sport injuries including lower limb, shoulder and lower back pain. He is an avid badminton player and runner.
After graduating from Malaysia, Chuen Thye had worked in various disciplines of physiotherapy in Tan Tock Seng Hospital for 5 years. The hospital experience had prepared him well in managing a wide variety of cases that included neurological, geriatric, orthopaedic, cardiopulmonary and amputation conditions.
He then moved on to work in a private outpatient clinic in Singapore for the next 6 years. He was the team physiotherapist for the Singapore Netball team from 2016 to 2018.
In 2018, Chuen Thye graduated from his Master course in Perth, Australia. During his post-graduate course, he had the chance to have placement at Perth Glory Football Club and learnt valuable knowledge from the experts there. Upon returning to Singapore, he worked briefly in the Singapore Sports Institute (SSI) where he treated our national athletes, before joining Physio and Sole Clinic. Chuen Thye is highly experienced in managing musculoskeletal conditions.
He practises at Yishun and Kovan.
