Christopher, or ‘Chris’ as clients know him by, received his graduate qualification at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) in 2005 and a Master’s degree at the University of South Australia (UniSA) in 2010. He has worked as a Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist for close to 10 years before taking up tertiary teaching roles in Hong Kong and Singapore. He was a lecturer for the physiotherapy undergraduate programme at HKPU from 2013 to 2016 and was a lecturer for the same programme at the Singapore Institute Of Technology (SIT). Chris lectures on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, predominantly clinical reasoning and manual therapy, as well as electrophysical agents. Besides providing undergrad physiotherapy training, he also contributes to various professional training courses for physiotherapists in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Singapore.
Chris has immense clinical expertise in musculoskeletal pain and sports injury rehabilitation. Additionally, he is skilled in treating patients with jaw pain (Temporomandibular Joint pain), headache caused by neck problems (cervicogenic headache), scoliosis and stroke rehabilitation. On top of his full-time clinical work, Chris is concurrently undertaking scientific clinical studies as a research associate at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Chris has published several scientific journal articles on rheumatoid arthritis and manual therapy.
