Jason Tan began his physiotherapy journey with a strong foundation in exercise science and rehabilitation, complemented by his background as a certified personal trainer. He started his career in a community hospital, where he gained valuable experience in geriatric care, neuro-rehabilitation, chronic disease management, movement disorders, and both conservative and post-surgical recovery.
Jason takes a holistic and patient-centred approach to care, combining exercise prescription, education, manual therapy, and techniques such as dry needling. He is known for tailoring each treatment plan to the individual’s goals, lifestyle, and stage of recovery-supporting his clients in reducing pain, regaining mobility, and returning to the activities that matter most.
His own experiences with sports and training-related injuries have shaped his empathetic and collaborative style. Jason understands that pain is not only physical, but also emotional and psychological, and strives to empower every client on their journey toward recovery and resilience.
Grounded in humility, Jason believes that movement-and a good sense of humour-are powerful tools in healing. He values listening and learning from his patients, and continually adapts his approach to meet their evolving needs. His commitment to quality care has been recognised through several SingHealth Quality Service Awards.
Outside the clinic, Jason enjoys gym workouts, cycling, badminton, and the occasional surf or snowboard trip. He also loves discovering new food spots, relaxing with a cup of tea, and spending time with animals. A lifelong learner, Jason is always exploring new skills to grow as a clinician and better support his patients.
